Moranbah Cinema is an award winning state of the art complex, the present cinema was constructed in 1998.
The theatre is modern with outstanding acoustics and full digital surround sound. The wall to wall screen provides an unobstruicted view for all 170 patrons.
Being fully air conditioned with a constantly controlled temperature the cinema provides a comfortable oasis in the hot climate.
As well as the standard 35mm film system the cinema also has digital projection that allows for the screening of major telivised sporting events direct on a 30 x 15 ft screen.
Movies are screened Wednesday to Sunday and seven days a week during school holidays.
